    An aging workforce is constantly facing the problem that companies (and more commonly, young recruiters) are reluctant to hire older workers. This reluctance is often based on the myths that surround older workers: they are over qualified, they want to make more money than we are willing to pay, they can't learn the new technology/process/technique etc.etc. This is the reality, even in our tight labor market. So, what to do?

    We believe there are techniques that have worked for our Alum's. We are interested in creating an information center of best/successful practices. Anyone can contribute. Most of this is not rocket science, but neither is it common knowledge. If you have a technique or approach that has worked for you, e-mail it to us and we will post it on the website and publish some in the Newsletter.     Digital Alumni members who have open positions and are interested in getting candidates from former Digital employees can e-mail the job postings to pkoch@decalumni.com and we will post them immediately. There will be no cost for this service. Each position will be posted for 30 days.

    If any other companies wish to list their openings with us, we will post any job listing for 30 days for a fee of $100, paid in advance.
